Our Mission: The LaFayette Library is a user-centered inclusive space for community engagement, where we provide equitable access to resources, ideas, and information to support the varied and evolving needs of our community.
Please join us on April 23rd at 10:30 am in the community room for QPR training - the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. This free training is being offered by Contact Community Services.
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying “Yes” to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor.
